What if x^2 was not on the opposite side of the equal sign would we still need to subtract the other values over ? What if it was like 120x-x^2-1.92

Quick question, not sure if I missed it but you know how in the quadratic formula you have a plus/minus sign? Do we add the values together or do we subtract them?
