Yeah right?! I completely don't understand people who would like an artist to sound almost the same throughout his/hers career and doesn't move a bit. I know some artists who record really similar L:Ps but with another collection of brilliant songs, and it is great. But only when it is their will and they want to provide same quality and sound with different set of hooks etc. But if an artist follows his/hers own path and try to redesign the image, sound, composition with every single LP and single - it is a bliss to follow such transition. I am always curious while listening to something fresh from Iceage and almost every time they hit me with something unexpected!

Only rock music I listen to. And have since their first ep. marching church included. Listened to bad brains once, they’re really cool too.

Their sound really changed in the best ways possible. Every album has killer new elements to them, but I would like to point out Elias' new vocal style. The melodies are rich, nice flowing and strange as always, and his voice is like a mix of Nick Cave and a young Robert Smith. All just incredible.

They played at my venue some years ago, so yeah as kids. They were so late, drunk and bad that we had to stop the concert (when they finally let go of their primadonna expectations) cause of "unpleased" people. And most of those people were punks so it had to be real bad ;) But all that said I hope they got their shit together and are making it out in the world. Can see they have a big US tour next year so good for them. Nice number too :)
