Iceberg crashing in Diskobay, Northwestgreenland The crash is starting slowly, with many smaller parts coming down, the size of the bits falling is increasing and finally ends up in a big burst, like an explosion

I agree .. I can't stand being on boats or tours with loud, cheering idiots - and screaming women yelling, "Oh maaaa Gard, oh maaa Gard". I look at the way they behave and feel sick. Why can't they appreciate the majesty of nature in silence? They have no idea how some of us feel ... we paid the same amount of money to witness the same things, but when I booked our tickets I had a different, much more silent picture of how the experience would unfold for us. And it happened again just last week whilst whale watching Humpbacks .... I could have put a fist through one screaming woman's nose ... she just didn't have a filter or know when to stop! For 4 and a half hours she just went on and on at the top of her voice - but at hour 4 I suddenly remembered that I had nice squishy ear plugs in my handbag from the moto drag races the weekend before .. I didn't take my eyes off her as she watch me open the package and fit them in my ears, LOL. But she STILL just kept on going!! : ( I just like quiet beauty ... just like this. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm going to watch it again, and again. And AGAIN. In perfect silence!! XX
@j.whiteoak64082 жыл бұрын
@@pmac1951 Exactly, P. McG! Do they think we didn't just witness the same majesty of nature they just did? Only WE didn't hear it, because THEY won't shut up! "O my gard - did you see that? Did you SEE that?" Well unless I'm tappiing around with a cane and black glasses because I'm a blind person... OF COURSE I DID! It almost (and I reiterate the word, "ALMOST") am grateful for CoVid because whale-watching tours are cancelled for this year - because I go every yesr. And every year our cruise is ruined by someone just like this. No brain, and absolutely no filteri LOVRD this video! Thank you so much for your kind comment - a gasp is all that's required. XX Bless you!

dean nelson Hey! Come on! Lay off the dude, man! What if you'd been in his shoes? Wouldn't you have moved? Not to be mean or anything, but I'd be willing to bet that if it'd been you, you'd of done the same thing:you'd of moved! I agree that they should have set up at a safer distance, but ya ain't gotta go cussing and ranting at the man. We all make mistakes! Be a little kinder in your comments. After all, again, what if it'd been you? Wouldn't you have moved? Yeah...you would've. So would I!
@deannelson95655 жыл бұрын
No that is as flat-out idiotic! If you don't have the functional ability to take a look at your present environment and realize there might be a danger of an obviously collapsing Iceberg and move to a safe distance before it actually collapses you just stupid! So I having been feeling safe enough to start this video filming where he did I wouldn't have moved because I would have already factored in the damn things about to collapse. It's sort of like filming a tsunami I'm not going to film it from freaking sea level I'll start filming it from wherever it is I feel safe and so if I was shooting this video I would clearly be at a distance that I felt safe at so once again I would not have moved.
@ronaldshank75895 жыл бұрын
dean nelson I said it before,cand I'll say it again:I agree with you on the point that they should have been at a safer distance, in case something like this happens. All I'm asking is that you not curse the guys for being too close. We all make mistakes, right?

Very, very spectacular right near the end, when that whole Arc between the 2 icebergs gives way, and collapses into the water! When that happened, though, did you really have to panic, and end up moving around so much? Were you afraid that you might encounter an ice tsunami? Just curious. If that was the case, I understand that you didn't want to be hurt or whatever. Still, besides all that, great video!
