I mean, I could see Taishen going quite a bit more ballistic there considering his little nephew and how visceral it all was for him. But, it's Mace's character and I'm not gonna tell him how to play it. Like, sometimes I wonder if mace forgets to roleplay? Lol. He's so much fun I just wish he would talk some more! It's probably the reason stardust rhapsody worked so well for me. Example.. he could've tried to melt the ice under the wendigo that one time. He could've participated in the fire making competition.. literally. Taishen has so many fire related stuff AND control flames! His charisma has to be high enough to make a huge performance check. Anyways. Haven't finished it yet but I wish he was the one responsible for bringing the boy back.. since, well, he was the one who was technically the most invested/affected by it. I wasn't sure about Daisy at first. Thought after the series of traumatic events she'd been thru that she'd be quiet, afraid of the outside world and wouldn't have much of a personality other than needing to be saved. But she had me at "You guys wanna cheese roll?" She just rolls with the punches of a crazy situation, doesn't back down, banters with the group, gets a tattoo, communicates with everyone just fine despite her inability to speak... Neat.

I screamed of laughter at the scene with the boy and the ancient estuary that Barnabos gave him. The faces were priceless. Barnabos is like a cooky uncle who gives weird gifts and you think. Wh-huh?! I loved it so much! And also this campaign so far is exquisite. The pieces of acting and the story draw me in deeper and deeper!

Interesting note about those calendar stones. I know that it doesn't have to work this way in avantris, they work however you guys say they do. But on earth, the winter solstice wouldn't be in the middle, it would be one edge. The summer solstice would be the other edge of an arc. The arc's size and orientation would depend where you were on the planet. If the goal were to denote the weeks of the Roman calendar, there would be 27 stones, because 25 of them would accur twice throughout the year, the winter and summer solstices being the only ones that happen only once.

This is my first time watching this, and I'm new to Avantris, but the resurrection actually feels intentional, interesting, and a part of the story.
