Record yourself (your voice or whatever you want) with another program. Save in mp3. Import mP3 to icecream (click add audio/music). This will add audio layer to your video. Easy.

Hello, I use an app on my phone to record my voice as I watch my edited footage. I then download that as an mp3 onto my PC or wherever you have your ice cream app installed. You simply grab the mp3 and drag it into ice cream. Then you can adjust or trim the audio to fit your video. If I want to do a voice over and music, I simply do the voiceover and then export the video. I then upload the video onto ice cream and add the music just like I did the voice-over. I hope this makes sense.
