"Raven Wing" A silhouette casts black shadows Along the desert floor Above the trees and mountains The raven wing soars A totem of creation A sign of life and death Messenger of spirirt realms Its magic never rests No, no, no No, no, no, no It never rests When in your darkest moments And you're trapped in deep despair You'll never see me coming But I am always there I am the wise shape-shifter And I am always there If you're choked with inhibition And you've sown the seeds of doubts It is my full intention I will seek you out I am fates magician I'll strip you of your doubt With blackened wings I fly My mystic spirit guide An ever watchful sentinel The raven at my side With blackened wings I fly My magic spirit guide An omen of my transformation On raven wings I fly So strip away your vain facade It's time to face your higher self Open up your spirit Begin to trust yourself I will help raise you From deepest pits of hell With blackened wings I fly My mystic spirit guide An ever watchful sentinel The raven at my side With blackened wings I fly My magic spirit guide An omen of my transformation On raven wings I fly With blackened wings I fly My mystic spirit guide An ever watchful sentinel The raven at my side With blackened wings I fly My magic spirit guide An omen of my transformation On raven wings I fly

This is a message of peace and sanity. Please stop reading if you just want hate. I see all those people spreading hatred on the band and over-analysing things almost saying that if Jon had not stormed the capitol there wouldn't be dead people etc. Guys, first of all what Jon and every "Jon" who was there that day did was illegal and yes, they should be brought to justice for their actions because they breached the law. As simple as that. To those of you Iced Earth ex-hard-core fans who mix music and politics, if you actually have been "listening" to 'em lyrics, you should have seen that coming. Don't really see why people are so impressed. And to those of you who play the "good democratic samaritan", none of us really knows Jon more than between a meet-and-greet and listening to IE in spotify so do not assume you know his beliefs and jump to conclusions. Iced Earth is a kickass MUSIC band first, and we all love their music even if a band member did a very illegal move, he must be brought to justice for that and thats it, life goes on. Please stay safe all!

Levent Vahdettin Sorry man! I misinterpreted your post. I just get tired of everybody bitching about every new IE song that comes out, saying "meh, sounds like every other IE song." My first thought is, what songs have YOU written lately? My second thought is, IE has been around since 88. It's inevitable they're going to re tread on certain ideas/sounds. EVERY band that has been around that long is guilty of this. At this point in IE's career, they are what they are. You either like what they do or quit bitching and find another band.
