@@SouthernArawak personally I think mossinite looks fake and plasticity so idk bout doing a better job but that’s an opinion. but labor is so high to make and stone set jewelry it makes no sense. he prolly paid like 2k for that Cuban for 60 to 100 grams of silver and mossinite. Mossinite is worthless so essentially he paid 2k for a chain worth 100 max in materials since silver is like a dollar a gram. compared to say a diamond Cuban bracelet since 2k is not going to get a chain my bracelet I paid 2300 for weighs 30 grams 10k gold with si diamonds that means material wise it’s worth 700 for the gold and if I take it to right place the would pay a premium for the diamonds so let’s say a extra 200. because I’m not completely sure what the value would be for that specific bracelets diamonds so 900 total that would mean I retaining somewhere 30-40 percent while he’s retaining 5 percent. even if he used gold and mossinite instead it’s stupid because if your going to pay for somebody for somebody diamond set even if it’s not going to retain the full 100 percent value mind as well put something that’s going to retain at least a little value. the price difference between mossinite stones and si or even vs melee diamonds isn’t enough to justify the purchase of mossinite the real price saving comes from the fact mossinite is almost always put in silver which is 1 dollar and gram compared to like 23 for 10k gold that same weight Cuban in real gold with mossinite would be 7k that a extra 5k compared to if he just switch the mossinite for real diamonds so silver and si diamonds would be like 2.5- 3k max . Neither are good investments but ik with my collection I paid 11 for I got at LEAST 4000 if I ever smelted it and more if I sell myself he prolly paid like 3 4k all that shit he got on and it’s prob worth 300 bucks if he weighed it all on the scale for the silver.

There are companies charging $2500 for moissanite/silver chains but it costs about that much to make a lab grown diamond chain. Natural diamond not much more. It won't lose its color that quick. Don't store it in moisture and wear it pretty often silver can last over 10 years. And just get it cleaned and polished. Just gotta take care of it.

For it to start to tarnish, you would have to be very neglectful to it. If you have a jewelry district, most bench jewelers will professionally clean and polish your jewelry for $10-$20 dollars. Or if you want do it yourself, warm water with a mild soap and soft bristle toothbrush should get most of the dirt and grime off. As long as you’re weary with your stones and metal, it’ll last.

Wouldn’t recommend boiling it cuz gold and silver are both soft metals so with heat it can cause the diamonds to fall out more frequently over time. I recommend getting a toothbrush and some dish soap and hot water from the sink and brush the diamonds and they be as good as new

I recommend just using regular silver cleaner that’s what I use and even the moissanite diamonds come out looking brand new as well and after cleaning it rinse it with warm water and dry it up
