The hidden pop-up tent creates a second bed fitting two more adults. There is a built-in kitchen area, allowing you to cook inside and wash dishes in the sink. The Crosscamp Flex is perfect for four people, giving the option to camp any time with the built-in heating system for cold nights, 12V electricity, and the option to use the campsite’s electric plug-in. The camper is 2WD but is permitted to drive on certain F-Roads. These roads are No. 35 (Kjölur), No. 550 (Kaldidalur), and No. 208, towards Landmannalaugar (only up to the river before the campsite). This camper is not allowed to cross rivers. Please note that even though the camper is authorized on certain F-roads, off-roading is strictly illegal.

Are there seatbelts on the rear seats? If so, are they lap belts or belts with shoulder straps? We're hoping to rent this camper with our kids and want to make sure it would work. Thanks for posting the walkthrough!

Great question! We are actually putting a video together regarding this. Yes, the Flex has two regular vehicle seats that are installed under the bench/bed/table area underneath. The bench actually folds upwards and locks into the wall giving you access to 2 extra seats with seatbelts safety that are folded and need to be folded up-right in position.

Pretty cool Car! Is it possible to add equipment on the roof?

No - you can not placed anything on the roof. the roof is very delicate. It extracts upward to get the roof top tent.

@@STEPH_sehenwill Hey Steph regarding the roof rack - our models (Lux 600 or Flex 541) unfortunately don’t provide a roof rack option.
