Since planning my trip to Iceland I have been scouring KZbin for every Iceland video ever made. They're all about the "KZbinrs". Then I found this. I watched it in tears. You have captured the very essence of this amazing country. Incredible work to remind us, as you said, that we are just another species on this planet. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Absolutely awesome shots in your video. I just returned to Tokyo a few weeks ago from a two week adventure in Iceland and we were blown away by the majestic beauty and scale of the geography of Iceland. You have captured it, albeit in a different season, magnificently. I got some great shots with my GoPro, iPhone 7+ and my Canon DSLR but I didn't get my drone up enough! Your video brought back some great memories. You're an inspiration for my next trip there! Thanks a lot for sharing!

Commander Bond thank you for the taking the time to comment! I'm glad you had a good time in Iceland...it is unbelievable! And glad you like the video as well. In the near future I hope to make it to Tokyo myself and do a film there! I'm looking forward to it!

That's exactly what I need! I just want space and Silence. I'm HOPING that this is what many others desire when they go there and that the tourists are respectful. Know what I mean? I'd even go as far as finding the most remote and quiet non-touristy area. Any suggestions - please do share.

My fiance and I are traveling to Iceland for the first time in a few days and we are BEYOND excited. It's all we have been thinking about for some time now. Your video was inspirational and beautiful. Daring to have flown your Mavic in such conditions in February there. Makes me feel better though because I am sure there will be rain when we are there next week but looks like you got some amazing footage even in such conditions so I don't think I am as scared to fly it in a light mist/drizzle for a short amount of time haha. I also love how you overlaid some information and quotes about iceland in the video. That is a great idea. Using our art and our work to promote awareness and education. Thank you

Thank you for taking your time to write a great comment! Circling the island, i only had once chance to fly it per place so I had to risk it! It did come back soaked most of the time but it stood up to the elements! Just make sure you throw it on the dashboard ASAP to dry out! Hope you your first time there...it will blow you away!

Hi, really great footage! I just returned from Iceland and the use of my drone was all but impossible because they have restricted the use of drones so much. I was wondering if you would share your drone footage with me (anything not featuring humans or cars), giving you full credit for the drone footage, so that I can make a cool little video with what footage I have and some composed music? Please let me know, thanks!

Amazing videos especially with the drone. Just got my Mavic a month ago and trying to learn as much as I can to get shots like this before I visit Iceland in 2 weeks. Couple of questions for you... 1.) Did you use a neutral density filter? 2.) Were you on manual or auto mode on the drone (ISO, shutter speed, WB) and what color style works best for you? Would appreciate to know your set up. Thanks in advance.
@wheresfuji7 жыл бұрын
Roehl Rosales Thanks for the comments! I used 3 different filters 4, 8, and 16...I used all manual settings... 4k with 100 iso and WB of 5500 but that all settings have to be adjusted depending on where you are and the lighting

Any advice for flying my mavic pro in iceland? Going again in august for a few days. You seem pretty risky flying it in the iceland weather.
@wheresfuji7 жыл бұрын
Andrew Sharp haha everytime it went up... I never knew if it was coming back... Constant rain... Crazy wind.. So yeah.. I'd get something to measure the wind like I had... Don't worry about the rain.. My mavic came back wet every trip.. Just put it on the dashboard to dry right away... If near the waterfalls it gets drenched in mist so be aware...make sure it's working properly before u send it out over water... You onoy get one shot at that ha... And definitely take filters like the polar pro... They are a must!

Great video but I have a suggestion for you. You should had picked the best of the best footage from what you've filmed , edit properly the footage and than share it. Instead you've made a long film which is quite good but too long. At some point I had enough and moved along. So next time ..make a film like this but no longer than 3 minutes with your best...edit really good and share it. Hope you don't mind me giving you a suggestion.
@wheresfuji7 жыл бұрын
andreiiasi no I welcome all comments! I specifically made this video months ago for people like me looking for long Iceland videos before going there. Didn't think it would get this popular so I have started making short versions of it as suggested.
