ICELAND March 2024 Part 1 of 2 "Ring Road & Golden Circle" HD 1080p

This is part 1 of 2 regarding my 2-week Iceland solo-"backpacking" journey I took in March of 2024. I put "backpacking" in quotes since I did rent a car due to the robust public transportation system Iceland lacks outside of its main cities. Most places I wanted to explore required private transportation or a tour to get access to. I avoid tours whenever possible. However, I did travel with a heavier 28-pound backpack due to the need for warmer clothing. I usually travel lighter at around 20 to 22 pounds.
