Thank you for a delightful tour in what can only be described as 'amazing scenery'. Cannot wait to get back to Iceland in April 2021. This is one of my favourite areas in Iceland and of course there is also the delicious ice-creams that can be bought on the farm, Efstidalur, near to Gullfoss.

I have a few questions : Roughly how long ( miles ) is this walk Secondly what time of the year did you come at? And thirdly is this part of a tour you can book

All in all the three major locations of the Golden Circle (Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir) are probably less than 2 miles in total. BUT it depends how much you want to explore. You can walk long ways in Þingvellir and explore it from many different paths. This was around october when I filmed this. Þingvellir was in december. You can book a Golden Circle tour with many tour providers but they will be different in terms of price and quality I suppose.

Who are these people? You see men, women and children of all ages walking an hour-long icy path and everyone seems entirely capable of doing it. Even older couples or five-year-olds breeze by and everyone is laughing and happy. No one sitting by the curb or grumpy children being carried around. Any army who had the guts to invade Iceland would be kicked out by their children and senior citizens before getting to the first soldier. 😄

You seem to be a very rude hiker, pushing your way through the middle of groups and passing people on narrow trail sections with no warning. Maybe sacrifice a few seconds and announce that you're passing. Don't be "that guy". We all want to see the pretty things; it's not a race.

Your impression of me is spot on. Except sometimes I scream at elderly people and push little kids out of the way in my greedy rush. But I edit those parts out to give the false impression of being a nice guy.
