I have two icelandic sheepdogs and your video is spot on. However not all of them bark and some breeders are working on minimizing the barking. One of mine is very chatty though 😉 I also love that you mention how clean their coat is because allthough they shed alot two times per year (good quality food can keep the shedding to a minimum at other times) they are very clean, don't smell unless they are wet and even then, they don't smell bad. More like wet shep (wool) then a wet dog 😄 And you can pet them all day long and never get grease or dandruff on your hands.

@@Rocadog And i kid you not, in the same hour that i watched this video, i went out and meet an Icelandic sheepdog. His name was Timon and he has the most unique pattern on his face, and his fur was so soft, the lovely lady that owns him let me pet him 😁

It's most definetly the best breed I've ever encountered. It doesn't care about other barking crazy dogs and even goes great with cats. Super lojal and trustworthy. Btw, they smell like cream. Just remember to take care of their ears as you said, they tend to get a lot of filth in there. But mine doesn't bark unless the doorbell rings, or he might sing when listening to music with trumpets or gitar sounds.
