I got Ives at 3-2. It was a nice battle, might have to watch it again to see if I missed something.

Icy was more clean, and his moves were more sharp, maybe one or two rounds were a lit bit short but imo he still won this.

Ives is imo one of the top dogs of the new gen (ivez, victor, and zeku to be more specific). That being said, my constructive criticism for Ives is... do more moves and have more structure to your rounds. Breaking is about the go down, what u do when u go down. I get it, being free, freestyling, and grooving is dope and it feels amazing. But this is a battle, not a cypher. Throw more moves. For example, Ives had more solid rounds when he was an up and comer because he actually threw sets and moves while on beat. You're not gonna win rounds wiggling your feet on beat half of ur round. Yes its fresh tho, but again its a battle. But at the end of the day, as they say, u do u. ✌️

But the Bboy Scene (especially the newer Bboys/Bgirls) are going for more freestyle and less structured rounds. Zoopreme for example toprocks and dances up to 70% of his entire round/set TO THE MUSIC/SONG and is only push 30% of his rounds with actually bboy moves. Bboying is shifting into a new era

@@robvision3888 imo zoopreme structure his round better where he freestyles and throw hard and stronger moves/short combos

Icey Ives won imo, 3 rounds to 1, with 1 round, the last one being a Tie. Full reaction coming soon :)

For real, a lot of people gas out at 3, especially when they have to bring the big guns. The only time you ever see anything above 10 is like when people get inducted into MZK and have to battle an entire room of members, but those are typically short exchanges.

Ives ran out of moves and went to uprocks which obviously wasn’t gonna be enough against this kid

He definitely did not run out of moves. His main focus was the groove, everything else was extra.
