This episode is really insane, more than half of this episode are anime original extend content. Not only it gives more battle and detail to the story, it also provided a potential different story direction for the upcoming remaining anime. To give a short explanation, in the manga there was never a proper Ichigo and Ishida fight, they cross with each other for a moment but not like this, in the manga Uryu mainly shot an arrow to blow Ichigo and others down (but without any major injury and be like "They won't survive that height fall"). It is one of manga reader's issue, we think Uryu did too little at that point. Yhwach is like "No doubt is needed, you all will experience this one's power first hand in the battle." Then we never get a chance to see Uryu fight a proper battle to that point in manga. Now with the new anime we did see what Yhwach is saying and had a look for Uryu's new power. Many people even start to think before is Uryu doing too little, but now maybe it is too much.

The full quote from Aizen to Ukitake was "Since the beginning, no one has ever stood in the Heavens, neither you, nor I, not even God himself, but now that emptiness in the throne of heaven ends. Uryu's new complete Quincy Vollständig is another surprise, this is something manga never has as well, unlike the one he used against Mayuri, we could clear see this is far more powerful, even enough to make Ishida has a proper fight against current Ichigo who has completed his training. Like all the other Stern ritters, Vollständig form and shape is related to the user, and it seems Uryu's wing and other protect part is shaped like an arrow head or tail, the ability is to control countless some arrow which could fire as well to attack at all direction, can form as circle to destroy the enemy who trapped inside or become a giant bow to shoot powerful arrow.

We saw Ukitake has became Soul King‘s right arm and now fighting against Yhwach, trying to consume him to protect the Soul Society, but the issue is although Yhwach's Almighty is blind to Soul King's right arm, but the power difference is still too huge, Yhwach easily overpowered the right arm. Ukitake sacrificed his life to give the three worlds a chance to buy some time, but in front of Yhwach's power it is still not enough, while Ichigo can not be there to stop Yhwach, he teared the right arm apart. and the fate of the three worlds is still in danger.

Now things are looking really bad, with the Almighty Yhwach is already the strongest being now, and now after crushed Soul King's seal crystal, he even absorbed most of the Soul King's body into himself, now he has evolved into a new form which makes him even more broken now. From this fight, it is fair to say, although Uryu has power up to a level that we never expect him to be, Ichigo is still stronger than him. Although with his Vollständig Uryu is pushing Ichigo back, make Ichigo having trouble to deal with so much attack, but we could also tell that Ichigo's mind has become a mess, he can not understand why things turn this way. he has more than 1 chance to kill Uryu but he let it go away. His Getsuga Jujisho is clearly more powerful and blow away Uryu's strongest attack, Ichigo still aim at other direction to try not to harm Uryu. His confusion reached limit and make him completely open for that last attack. So although Uryu won this battle, but it is more of took an advantage with Ichigo's mental state. Ichigo still has more power preserve that is not reveal now.
