Outfield: Mays, Mantle, Dimaggio, Aaron, Henderson, Trout, Bonds -- just to name a FEW would be entirely more dangerous and disruptive to opposing teams' pitchers. Henderson alone on the base paths is absolute terror and disruption. May, Mantle, Bonds? all better athletes than Ichiro, especially in baseball. who else would i choose besides ichiro in the outfield? Gwynn? of course. Williams? What a beautiful video, perfectly made! Thank you Tecknowledgist! I started playing, watching and following baseball religiously as a kid for a few years before 2001, as a Yankee fan during their 98-2000 dynasty. By the time Ichiro came in, I quickly became a huge fan and he became my favorite player! I would watch as many of his games as possible on the sports streaming websites and on Local TV whenever he played against Yankees or Mets. He was such a unique and rare talent with his amazing contact, speed, fielding, arm, etc. I was so thrilled when he came to the Yankees! And even into his 40s he could still run and play with the best of them. It was a pleasure watching him play and break 80 year old records, I will forever be grateful to have done so. He was such a humble and generous person too, a class act, a jokester, an all around fun person, which you could see in this video. In the future, I could say that I got to see Ichiro the legend play, and man was he special!

i've had the privilege to see both sadaharu oh (22 years and 868 home runs) and ichiro suzuki play, ichiro hit .372 the year he had 262 hits. i'm old enough to remember rod carew, he's in ichiro's class with what they do, i'll never forget a game where carew had 3 consecutive hits between 3rd and short. i really miss this kind of tactical baseball, tree trunks hitting home runs or striking out with guys on 2nd and 3rd and one out, is boring.
Ichiro HAS to be voted in Cooperstown with a 100% acceptance rate no doubt
@bernieudo43994 жыл бұрын

@ThekiBoran3 жыл бұрын
I never understood how players like Babe Ruth, Willie Mayes, Ted Williams and the obvious HOF'ers didn't get 100%. There must be collusion to determine which writer will vote no because many of those players were among the greatest ever, how could you not vote yes?
@jebediahkrimsoncraftleding30123 жыл бұрын
@@ThekiBoran It's incredibly political. Certain players even today will have hardliners refusing to vote them in because they don't think they were "good ambassadors" to the sport or some other bullshit. @ThekiBoran3 жыл бұрын
@@jebediahkrimsoncraftleding3012 I just want to repeat that there must be collusion among the writers for the obvious choices.
