This was an amazing cartoon. Watched it as kid in the 80s, had an awesome antihero, cool spaceship and characters. Topped it all with an out of this world soundtrack including Ichiro Mizuki and Seiji Yokohama. Great anime series.

Space Pirate Captain Harlock is about an alien invasion. The president would rather work on his golf game and the military is too busy chasing Harlock. Harlock's last connection to the Earth is his dead best friend's daughter.
