We however feigns it, outwardly we show humility and people can attest how humble we are yet deep down our hearts, we are full of pride. They can't see it, but God sees it perfectly clear.
The song is a cry to God to help us remove the pride in us, it's not easy to remove hence only the creator can help us.
Pretending to people will save us from the people, but keeping it in our hearts we are in danger of eternal death. God help us.
