This is such a cute video of grandpa and dad teaching us the nitty gritty of using the accessories. Well done guys 👍

Actually we put our ickle bubba pram together yesterday in prep for new baby arriving and tested everything out and underneath the carrycot/seat unit there Is a thin bar with 2 notches on either side which you can loop the Velcro around, very well made pram/car seat excellent value for money👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Glad to see I'm not the only one baffled by this and to be disappointed by the lack of instructions (I mean hell, if you're selling a travel system in the UK people are going to need the rain cover!) Really enjoyed the video, I wish more instruction videos were like this lol

Omg, thank you so much!! I have avoided using the rain cover and just didnt go out when it rained as i had no clue!! I think the velcro bits go round the frame when you end up using the seat unit rather than the pram unit. Thank you guys again 😃

You guys should do more reviews on baby equipment stuff - there are lots of dads to be like me scouring over the internet while we're in lockdown to find the right stuff when we can't go to the shops - keep it up :)

LOL my baby girl got a bit damp (as did a lot of the pram) the other day after we got caught in a torrential downpour and had to throw the rain cover on for the first time. Thanks for making something to find some sort of solution to this issue. We have the V4 so I'm assuming the cover just isn't made very well!

Just a thought but surely the carrycot bit of pram shouldn’t be tilted up like that. We have just purchased the v3 and not looked at it properly but I’m sure that if the carrycot part was flat you be able to tie the rain cover on properly. Just a thought guys

Awesome! Got my ickle bubba the other day and had a quick look before putting it back in the box (baby not due for another few months). We only tried the rain cover on the buggy with the seat world facing and not on the carry cot. Good thing I watched your video now! Will definitely remember when it comes to using the buggy in this horrible British weather! 😁
@graymacdonald22694 жыл бұрын
Martyna Zawadzka I’m so pleased we’ve managed to help you! Like Del Boy said, we aren’t sure if it’s right but it certainly does the job doing it this way! Best of luck with the baby and stay safe 👍🏻
@MausGMR4 жыл бұрын
Nice guys, just been trying to figure this out myself. Best I've come up with for the intention of the straps is to fix around the frame above the front wheels when the buggy is set for front facing, angled downwards for sitting the child in. Rear facing wise they seem pretty useless!
@kegandenton72993 жыл бұрын
We’ve just bought this pram and was struggling with the rain cover. underneath the carry cot there is two hooks for the rain cover straps to be fastened onto
@philiprichards62894 жыл бұрын
Hi lads, great video. Another question I have is do you know why there is like a sort of pocket on the underneath of the mattress cover for the carry cot? Cheers.
@graymacdonald22694 жыл бұрын
Hi! Not sure about that one, I didn’t even know that existed?! We are passed the carry cot now we are using the stroller.

I had an issue trying to get the rain cover on yday them watched this but I figured it out. The elastic bit goes on the back but sits just under the hood, NOT under the carrycot base. Then you can line up the black seams with the seams on the hood.
@SwatiGurpreet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for making this! I went onto the website and had a look at their pictures. Theyve somehow managed to have it under the carrycot on their website 🤦🏽♀️ but no video to show how. Now that your daughter is older and uses the other seat does the raincover velcro just strap onto the bottom bar of the seat? Thank you in advance
@jenpowton63474 жыл бұрын
Can the raincover go over the carseat when the carseat part is attached to the pram? Just about to brave the rain and my baby only likes to sit in the carseat

@graymacdonald22694 жыл бұрын
Hi Gurvinder. Do you mean the part that would be used at 6 months? If so I’m 4 weeks away from that so haven’t even looked at it yet. I can let you know though when I get to it!!
@gurvinderbirk51224 жыл бұрын
@@graymacdonald2269 yes, that's the l seat I'm talking about. I phoned ickle bubba and they hadn't included the 5 point harness in my delivery, no that's why I couldn't work out how to buckle it up - it's now on its way. You might want to check you have all your parts before you need it! Thanks anyway!

Iv just found a plastic hook on each side of the carry cot and connected it to that.as I was thinking why they were there it has worked I hope this helps this is on a v4

Look under the bottom of the pram there are 2 little hooks to connect the raincover to 🥰

@@StaringAtTheCeilingX you have to really pull the cover but be careful because they rip so easily. Don't pull by the strings pull the plastic

Could you do one with the car seat how to remove it. I’m forever waking my 9 week old up as can’t seem to get it out the car without force
@graymacdonald22694 жыл бұрын
I like this suggestion! I may do just that.
@chilli9994 жыл бұрын
What i do is when putting the car seat in to the isofix base i apply a little bit of pressure to bose sides till i hear 2 clicks usually i hear the first click soon as i put it in because iv had a real had time removing it if its not properly in place it is stiff to remove and to remove it i pull the lever and try and tilt the car seat back and forth by the handle gently while still pulling on the lever till i hear a click and seat just comes strait out

Hi Guys, I think you were so close, I think the 2 straps either side velcro together before you put the rain cover on and stay velcrod together permanently and can just be stretched over the bottom area?
@graymacdonald22694 жыл бұрын
Good thinking Nasser, doesn’t that mean it ends up the same no matter what way round you do it? Who knows, this was just our interpretation of it and we do think it’s still wrong 😂
