ICM really have made their mark recently with some wonderful kits over a wide range of scales and subjects. Can't be easy what with a war on - despite that, the 2024 catalogue has even more juicy stuff for us. That Maruader looks stunning!

The B26 does tickle my fansy, if I could sneak it home and stash it away, and maybe the Humvee, I thinknif this company is bringing out New tooled kits under the countries current circumstances they should be congratulated, hope all is well in Ukraine, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia

I love icm, over the last, say, decade they've come leaps and bounds. Their kits have something for everyone, nice good fitting kits with a little challenge to spice things up. Love them

Icm Is looking really impressive with these offerings. Never built a helicopter before but I’ll be picking up the Blackhawk for sure. The figures look great too. A lot to be excited about

Im a solid fan of ICM, Their figure range is incredible and of wonderful quality. I also have 5-6 of their vehicles kits, a mix of WW2 and modern items, and they too, are superb. Thier multiplwev sets of vehicles(+/-figures) are real projects in a box.

I’m really getting to like ICM kits. I recently built 3. The Burma jeep and US field kitchen truck are on my list.

I think there are a number of exciting kits here, the bomber beaufort, the marauder, ju88 tank buster, are ones I will get, the only shame being the prototype German plane isn’t in 1/48 scale, my preference scale for airplanes, though I might get it. More here for me, than Airfixs new kits.

I think your final comments are very pertinent, although just coming back to the hobby compared to 20/25 years ago the breadth, quality and availability of kits is amazing.

@@aldo5428 I think this is one of the fallacies used by modellers of a certain age about modelling being expensive. Yes, kits are generally more expensive in relative terms than the contemporary kits of the 1960s and 70s - by a factor of about 2-3 in general. However, that doesn't reflect the change in disposable income during that period, which has approximately doubled. The UK state pension has increased at a slightly slower rate, to 1.5 times its inflation adjusted value for that time, meaning this kit will be a bit more expensive than the original Monogram 1/48th kit was for people in 1978 - but it is easily twice the kit that this ever was....I wouls certainly prefer to make this one kit than two of the old Monogram kits!

ICM are certainly pushing the boat out in my favourite scale, 1/35. I like the Burma Jeep conversion kit particularly.

The Marauder and Tarhe with Universal Military Pod are definite buys for me. The various figure sets too, especially the Japanese pilots. Am hoping that wounded WWI soldiers will be released at some point. Really good to see a model company taking a bit of a risk thinking out of the box, and will reward them with my wallet. Thanks for the heads-up Alex. 😊

again, a very instructive presentation, thanks for that. So Airfix is named Airfix for some reason. Basically I think it's a good businees decision to have a focus in this really very comprehensive market. When I look for a 1/72 airplane model, Airfix is today surely one of the first adresses. If I go for 1/48, Tamyia, Eduard and now ICM seems to be the first choice. I'm wondering whether ICM, like Tamyia, is going to relaease military vehicles in 1/48 like Tamiya any day.I would really appreciatete that. With a second supplier, it would be more easy to go for that very attractive scale.

Nice video. I am too space constained to build anything bigger than 172 and even then a "heavy" would be stretching it so the ICM announcements are disappointing for me. However, I totally agree that anciliary parts to complement main subjects, such as ground crew, ground mats and so on (I think a motorbike halftrack as a tug would complement a 262 pretty well) is an idea that manufacturers would be well advised to adopt. A simple bare kit is a bit dead on its own in my opinion.

I havent been in the hobby for years but am planning to return. I am rather intrigued by the choice of 1:35 scale. Seems odd because 1:32 is already close and has been used for years. It also will upset any diorama as they wont be interchangeable etc.

Do you mean for some of their raft, like the helicopters? If so, several manufacturers make these in 1/35th precisely for diorama building because of the common occurrence of 1/35th figures and vehicles.

ICM has turned into a splendid company. I have a 1/35 WWI Motel T Staff Car and a Glouster Gladiator in 1/32. The first ICM kit I bought was the German WWI Battleship in 1/350 Konig. That was not a great kit - ICM has come a long way.

Kudos to ICM for offering a wide range of quality and bang for the buck kits and interesting / unusual subjects while their own country is at war and valiantly defending itself from a full-scale invasion. Other BIG companies should really think about it and feel just a little bit ashamed. 🔱💪

All of the ICM kits I've made from the past few years have been flawless in terms of plastic quality and fit. They've definitely come on a long way

AH-2 is the most mass-produced biplane of the 20th-21st century and not a single decent model . The market is flooded with Mustangs, Messerschmitts, etc. Model AN-2 in 32 scale would bring good income.

There are a lot of toolings of the AN-2 - Tigger models do one in 1:32, Hobbyboss do 1:48 and Bilek do 1:72 just as a start. I don't think with so many kits of the subject it's that appealing commercially for a mainly Eastern European workhorse
