"Please DO NOT assume it is acceptable to upsize the ICM870-9A or ICM870-16A to the largest size (ICM870-32A) when you are unsure of the RLA current or when the current is close to the limit of the ICM870-16A. This practice will defeat the benefit of the Inrush reduction on smaller systems under 16 Amps and defeat the over current safety limit by allowing for a 20A trip point for over current on the ICM870-32A compared to an 11.25A trip point on the ICM870-16A. PLEASE choose the ICM870 based on RLA or by using the size vs tonnage chart shown."

This is awesome Thank you. How do I bypass the Coresense on a armana for a ICM870-16A. I asked the company and they never got back to me. Is it as simple as unplugging it? The part just came in today and I’m eager lol.

I don’t know what a coresense is. I’m a Gen tech and not a hvac tech. Sorry I can’t answer your question.

I bought one of these. It lasted a total of 3 weeks and quit working. I contacted the manufacturer and they would NOT refund me or send me a new unit. $200.00 wasted

Sorry to hear that. How many tons is your AC? Mine is about 3 weeks old now. Did they give reasons why they would not warranty it?

If you purchased it using a credit card you could try to file a claim with them.
