Hi. Just want to ask u. When we went to Turkey and stayed in self catering apartments not a hotel.. the guy who owned the place asked us for copies of our passports as he said it for tax reasons. Is this what happens normally.

Ok. Thanks. Just thht we have been to China and they dont do that there and China is a strict country with people coming in etc. So we were surprised when turkey asked for our passports.
