Two cards was used: 1) Toshiba Exceria 32gb 1000x, 120mb/s write speed 2) Lexar Professional 64gb 1000x, rated with same speed I think.

do you recommend 50 d for budget filmakers now ? Any new videos you shot with this ?

Nope, I have not shot videos on this camera since early 2019, from that moment I got fullframe 4k. My short answer is "Great for learning procces, but bad for "practical" shooting." Long answer: I want to say that this camera(50d) is amazing in terms of "shot-management" training, you need to think ahead well before shooting, you need to get right time of the day, get all needed frames in your head or notebook, knowing and then you can shot something, otherwise you will not get the result. So if you understand that your camera can ruin your shooting day(because it can crash for some reason, or run out of memory), understand that processing of these RAW files is not that easy - then go for it, but keep all those things in a head.

Last but not least - good, fast CF memory cards is expensive side of RAW recording and it is certainly not about budget filmmaking.

Thanks! Nope, no battery grip was used - it is almost impossible to balance such high/heavy setup on light gimbals. As for one battery life - I believe it was something like 30 mins or so.

Thank you! The only issue was output HDMI resolution settings on 50d. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was tough for 50d if max 1080 resolution was selected there, it is related to "weak" CPU of the camera, causing problems and lags with RAW processing.

What do you need more? "Unlimited" recording, audio, easy processing, cheap memory? or Sometimes buggy, no audio, long processing times, but really feel involved in a process(because of that challenging things)? If first - 100d If second - 50d

you can, but what the point? it will be very average quality.

Yes, they are. But I have used MLW Raw Video producer, since back in time(when the video was edited) it has much better and faster anti-aliasing processing.
