I have a 50A and like you I sold my 52 to make room for the Kenwood 75, the 50 works great for hotspots and really all I need. Looks like (based on EU and Canadian pricing) the 75 is going to be over $725 US 😢

Howdid you get the brand meister on the TO line, does it just show up there when cross moding? Or, did you have to program it,. You seem like you skipped some steps for those of us wanting to learn how to do this.

How did you prrogram the icom radio? I have the ID-52 and just got OS4pro... Not sure how to program radio

You can use the software by the good people at RT Systems or the Icom software to program the radio.

When cross moding to DMR, does it have to be a talk group or can you simplex to DMR radios and/or DMR Repeaters?

You will not be able to simplex from d-star to dmr, or use a dmr repeater for that matter.

Have you configured it to where you can controll the openspot from anywhere? As in you can login in on your phone or computer like at work and the openspot is at home, I think you have to open a port think its 80 on your router..

Thanks for asking. As I carry my Openspot everywhere I go, I do not need to do remote operations. The Openspot is small enough to fit in a pocket, and it is easily accessible that way in case I need to manipulate the function buttons.
