Icon of the Seas 10292 FAMILY infinite ocean view balcony

We stayed in icon of the seas, handicap, accessible, family, ocean view, infinite balcony, and wanted to share what it looked like inside. And the pros and cons… Our favorite thing was the space. It was awesome having bunkbeds for the kids in a separate area from the adults. They both said the beds were very comfortable and took her sleeping top and bottom. There was plenty of outlets in there for them to charge the iPads And each had a draw for their own clothes. They each had a TV, I believe they both had to watch the same show so the volumes didn’t overwhelm each other but I can’t remember. It does not stream like on the other new ships. Doors do accept WOW bands. Plenty of room to park a wheel chair if needed. Adult bed was very comfortable as well. Room stated it goes to 66 degrees… never felt cooler then 70-72, and was downright hot one night… this room is VERY noisy with the ship movement, beams creaking and shifting noises (not horrible with people noises except running feet upstairs occasionally). We used a fan app on both phones to drown out the sounds. Bathroom shower bech flips down, shower does not drain quickly (angles) so everything left on the floor will be wet, and the walls and ceiling will be dripping from humidity 😂 comes with shampoo/body wash all in one. No shower drying line like other ships so bring magnetic hooks for drying clothes/bathing suits. We brought conditioner and we’re happy. There are TWO windows only one is the balcony style that opens. Pull out couch was also tried out and comfy! Location is awesome! Felt close to everything even though it’s aft. One level down is the ship model, check it out! Plenty of places to charge phones and cameras! I would totally book this room again even with its quirks! #iconoftheseas #royalcaribbean

Thank you for the review. We booked this exact cabin for next month. I’m a bit concerned about the creaking noise you mentioned as I’m I light sleeper. Was it consistent creaking while the ship was moving and was it fairly loud? If you had ear plugs in would you still hear it? I’m debating switching cabins but unfortunately there are no more accessible or balcony cabins left for our sailing. I wonder if they were able to fix that issue. Thanks

Ear plugs will definitely be work. We used the “fan noise” app on our phone fell asleep easily. It was only when the ship was moving. It wasn’t horrible, nothing to stress about if you can’t switch rooms. It was mostly just when the ship was swaying left to right in the waves (we didn’t feel any motion). We still had a great time and the room is huge and great! Just come prepared with background noise if it’ll bother you! Glad we could help “show you around!”
