One thing I am concerned about is the longevity of the Boa lace system. Do these ever break?

I don't think so I had the same system on my skates and they been working pretty well for over a year nothing wrong with it. This system is been used in different type of shoes or even jackets it's a patented system that a lot of manufacturers use for their products really good quality I would say! 👍

A bit late but the boa system should have a lifetime warranty so if it breaks you can get a new boa system on your shoe.
