We were here March/April 2024! I am in Florida for 4 weeks! So stay tuned for 4 weeks' worth of Florida footage!!
This vlog features AD Gifted tickets from Merlin Entertainments to The Orlando Eye, Madame Tussaud's and the Sea Life Orlando Aquarium. I am so thankful for this opportunity and I hope you enjoy seeing what the attractions are like if you have never been before! We had such a fun day!
I start off letting you know what we're going to do at Icon Park today! We walk into the main building and I show you the ticket prices/ combo tickets single tickets etc.
Our first attraction is Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum! We had such fun, they have so many wax figures and fun interactive things to do. We saw the sports figures, film stars, Hollywood stars, DC comic superheroes, presidents, important historical figures, music icons etc.
We then head out for some lunch, there was so much to choose from so we went for Carrabba's on International Drive - we had a lunch special and it was delicious!
We headed back to Icon Park and went to the Sea Life Orlando Aquarium! Loved this! We had never been before and a highlight was seeing the turtle!
Next up is the Orlando Eye itself! We go 400 feet above Orlando on the wheel and the views were amazing! You could even see the construction of Epic Universe! Plus Spaceship Earth, Volcano Bay, Universal, Sea World and even NASA Kennedy Space Center!

Icon Park is the hit place now on International Drive. Especially in the evening. So many bars. I’m old enough (probably like your parents) to remember it as the Mercado Centre. We last visited Madame Tussaud’s in 2018 and was very impressed and there seem to be a few more additions since then. We’ve never visited SeaLife so that was interesting to be shown around. We also rode the Orlando Eye just after it opened and not rode it since. Nice views of Epic Universe. Lovey day out.

A great video. Looks a great place. It looks like a great place for a super hot day as well. It’s very reasonably priced. That lunch looks a great deal also. We may well spend a day at Icon park during our upcoming July trip. The wheel has been renamed on the website. Thanks for giving us a great idea for a day out.

As always Claire - what an incredible job you did to show us around these venues. I feel so informed! We have never been to any of these attractions so it was fun to see all of them in your vlog. To be honest until I saw this vlog our family has never been interested in Madame Tussaud’s but after seeing your vlog I think my family might like to go. We definitely will check out SeaLife; that turtle was AMAZING! It might be fun to go up into the Eye just to see all around Orlando. My boys would love to see the progress on Epic Universe. Looks like y’all had such a fun day! Curious…have you done these attractions in London. PS - my favorite Tom Hanks movies are Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve got Mail.

Brilliant Video Claire. That looked like such a fun day. I couldn’t believe the views you had from the wheel. I wondered if it was the space centre you could see in the distance as Florida is so flat. It’s absolutely insane to think you can see it from there. Just proves how incredibly massive that building its. You just reminded me that I have tickets to go on the wheel on my up and coming trip so defo must use them. 😍

I think what you thought was Kennedy Space Center is the Stanton Energy Center. It's a nuclear reactor and solar panels. It's about 18 miles or 29 KM East from where you were.
