Sikstep 2nd So, it was very easy. In an outdoor scene Steve Carell is in the foreground and behind him, in the background, a bridge. It's the Jamestown Bridge in Rhode Island, where it was known that they had filmed. It's a particular bridge because it rises. The house is located at 109 Melrose Ave Jamestown, Rhode Island. Google Maps will find only an entrance to a private property (south direction - right side). But by the view from above you will understand that it is precisely the same house. Bye. p.s. I would add two curiosities: 1. Seeing the film (perhaps the tenth time), I realized that Steve Carell at the beginning of the scene where the children play hide and seek, he shows Juliette Binoche, on a local map, the exact location of the house. 2. I've been to the house they used in the movie,and also eat dinner at the bowling alley,restaurant inside is called CLEATES,bowling alley is called ALLEY KATZ,house is in Jamestown rhode island,and bowling alley in westerly Rhode island
