This guy was a genius and a total workhorse. Everyday he showed up to record a record he showed up in coveralls, when asked why he said, "It's what people who get real work done wear and that's what I do here. Why should I be any different?"

He was seriously in error in his support and promotion of horrific death cults like the "climate change" agenda; transgenderism; the project known as "Covid-19". His discernment was poor. He definitely had high intelligence and a lot of ability. I think that he did have ethics, a conscience, decency A complex individual and I would respect the real grief of his many friends.

Recording engineer. He had a signature drum sound, and his mixes often sounded like Steve Albini, but he was not a music producer in the classic sense of the word. When you went to record with him, you had to have your arrangements worked out and you had to know how you wanted things to sound, and then he would engineer that for you. Total respect for his work.
