Iconic Giglio Gets New Facade Ahead of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast

Thousands will pack the streets of Williamsburg, Sunday, to watch the iconic Giglio lift at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast. The dance of the 72-foot-tall tower has been happening for more than a century but this year, the old tradition is getting a new look. For the first time since 2018 the Giglio's entire facade has been completely rebuilt and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel feast's number one capo says there are pieces that pay homage to the feast's history and his own family history.
