Arthur Jones first contribution to the sport of bodybuilding came in the form of the Nautilus pull over machine. Realizing that the arms as the weak link to back training will always give out before the stronger and larger back muscles, Jones sought to eliminate the arms from the movement applying force more strategically to the lats and other prime movers of the back. He was successful in doing so and produced a half dozen or so versions all hitting just a bit differently
Seen here, old school plate loaded version Dorian Yates used en route to his 6 Mr. Olympia victories from his Temple Gym in Birmingham, UK and the smallest of Jones, versions seen with Face Man here where the world comes to train as Jimmy Mentis assists. Note this smaller version is good for athletes up to about5'10" and beyond that you will need to move over to the equally effective Hammer Strength plate loaded version just down the line of more than 55 pieces specifically for back development here in the gym
