In 1978 When I was working in Mani driving school I used to visit Krishna Bhavan for lunch. It was just ₹6/- The owner and his son used to maintain. That elderly man with white 'panche' was always an attraction for me 😊

This is really remarkable place connected with lot of emotions.i wish New krishna Bhavan would have remained as it is now.even i have been a regular visitor there.The food is very tasty and cleanliness is maintained.The number of visitors to malleshwaram is more a good food hotel like this was much in need.Finally it is in the hands of the owner who can only decide it.

After we moved to Bangalore on transfer from New Delhi in 1998 onwards we are regularly visiting this Hotel. Tasty, hygenic food,best service. My daughter who is in abroad was shocked to learn the cloaure of NKB. Her favourite items are Neer Dosa, Green Button Idly, Kuli Appa with Goju. We enjoyed the food. Feeling sad for the worker's future which is question mark. Let good sense prevail upon the management to reverse their decision to close the Hotel. If not may GOD bless everyone a bright future those staff who will become job less, over night, due to the hasty decision of owner of New Krishna Bhavan.

This news took me back in time. Year 1989 to 1992 . We would go over to NKB for sunday brunch. Our toddler would have button idlies, vade, and then look out for the toy horse placed just outside the hotel. She would run out to sit on the toy horse for ten minutes. It was her major attraction swinging on the toy horse. She would often say, "amma kudure hotel ge hogona baa" .... Time flies! Nothing like old world charm of Malleshwaram. feeling nostalgic now!

Sad & disappointed to hear the news of New Krishna Bhavan being closed. It was our meeting point during later part of 70s & early 80s. That was the wonderful days we use to have a plate meal at Re.1.00. Eating Bonda Sambar and Masala Dosa was an excellent feeling. The owner with white Kachche Panche, Anga vastra use to stand in front observing the customers as well as the suppliers. A plate meal was sufficient & filling. That was a dream! Good bye NKB.
