Lark’s Lisa is so gorgeous to me. Also thank you for crediting the costume designer as well! What we see on TV is a mix of the actors/actresses serving the looks in their acting, & the costume designers behind the scenes who are creating these looks. As a college student heading into the entertainment industry I very much appreciate that you are aware of this!

All three girls were hot sauce, but Lisa was the it girl on the show. For the mostly white viewers, she was likely the first black girl on equal footing and not just some token supporting character. So sorry Lark didn't have a longer career. She deserved one...

Yeah, I remember reading that the character was originally written to be Jewish, but Lark Voorhies (spelling may be off 😂) just happened to get the role. The character wasn't written as a typical "token black friend".
