It's ground breaking tech. But there's some potential confusion here. Just to make sure. Software on IC can but doesn't have to be open source and DAO controlled. I own and have deployed multiple websites on ICP and you cannot change it. Once something goes through SNS or similar, and access goes to the DAO, then it is owned by DAO. Before that, software is owned by a user. And doesn't have to be open source.

Ok so I staked my icp and now I have created a new neuron on ledger I was hoping I could merge them howeve it says can’t merge neuron with 2 different controllers error? I’ve tried looking into this as I simply wish to add my principal backed by my ledger is there anyway to transfer my neuron onto ledger once already staked?? They can. But token hold voting power. They would need to buy all the tokens to take total control but obviously the price value will rise. Plus you can have tokenomics design where tokens are distributed fairly so also hard to do
