Listen to songs like "Ballad Of Worms", "Suicidal Failure", "Among the Sleep", "Agent Orange", "In Stoney Lodge", "Stripes", "Hell's Winter", "Lord Have Mercy", "Shoot Frank" or "Down the Left Hand Path". THAT is Cage at his best.

Most people don't like them because they don't understand them. Stop thinking about them as Rappers and start thinking about them as story tellers. Their songs are stories. Mostly comedic horror stories but they have other songs as well. Their stories have a way of capturing your imagination and letting it run free with it. Most other rappers rap about life or other generic things. Rappers "Keep it real". ICP likes to keep it UNREAL. I have never met a person who disliked ICP after giving them a serious listen.
