Okay so my repair took 45 minutes in total. I thought it was easy in the beginning but the part with the ear piece and all the other cables around that area and the camera/lens were the most difficult for me. The video is honestly out of focus in some key parts. I am just glad that I managed to repair my iPhone 6 at a fraction of the cost. Thank you.

This was my second attempt of fixing a cracked iPhone 6 screen. The first video I followed was a train wreck and I did not get the results I wanted. However, this video was for a second iPhone 6 I tried to replace a cracked screen by following and was extremely pleased with the step by step instructions and got the results I wanted. A fixed screen without any difficulties! Thank you! Recommend this video.

What a great guide, thank you. I just have a quick question if you could answer please? At 15:46 you mention that the thermal plate will slip under the upper end of the LCD flex, but then at 16:28 it is clearly under the thermal plate? Which is correct, does it belong above, or underneath?

Hey man, thanks so much for the tutorial, it helped me to successfully replace a broken iPhone 6 screen (as well as transfer my home button and camera/proximity sensor from my old screen to the new one, as the new one didn't come with them). Everything seems to be working great (although I haven't verified the proximity sensor is working yet). Thanks again!

Hi, I have a question. I did everything accordingly but I end up with 2 problems. First the touch id is not working saying that is unable to connect and gives failed connection. And the second problem is that at random time the screen goes off, but the backlit is lit i can see the light but no picture. I lock/unlock the phone from the lock button a few times and the picture comes back on... What did I do wrong ?

I did this and I got my screen to work but my front facing camera isn't working anymore. (Home button, speakers, microphone all are working just fine). When I try to flip the camera to the front side, the screen just turns black. I am not sure where the problem is. Is the camera broken, the flex cable damaged, or did i break the logic board? No idea. Help would be really appreciated. Thank you! :). (Great video btw!)

I really appreciate your tutorial, it is clearly explained and I could follow along. Except the part at 16:04 where you specifically say to put the thermal plate under the flap but then magically a few moments later it is all screwed down with it over it. I understand how difficult it must be to make a video, especially with such a fiddly process, but I wasted an hour because of that. Could you at least put an annotation at that point warning people that the video is wrong?
