Just a quick reminder, if u get an error code -77 at the end of your jailbreak, cydia might not install. Then, you need to disable your passcode and restart the jailbreak and it should say "All Done" at the end. I've just had this issue, hope it helps

Most common errors: -77: remove the passcode from your iPhone so that you can access it without the passcode -78: Turn your PC off and restart if from the Checkra1n USB stick again I had both errors and those things helped me. I hope i can help you2

Thank you so much for your great support. I need to tell you that in my case even I have used 16gb USB, NTFS has given error so I reformatted it with FAT32 to see whether it works and it worked. So if you have problems with USB, I advice you to use FAT32 even if your USB has higher capacity than 8GB.

A VERY useful tip for entering your bios if you have difficulty on windows 10 is to start up your computer normally and once logged on, hold shift while clicking restart in the windows menu. This will restart the computer into the boot up menu

First you have to make sure that the usb drive you trying to boot from is bootable / second you need to check what’s the brand of your laptop or the motherboard in case you have desktop / and type the brand name of the laptop or the motherboard on google example / hp bootkey / you will find out the boot key / now shutdown your device and power it on and keep pressing on that key maybe it’s f4 or del or f9 .. etc and then you will come up with a menu contains the bootable drives and one of them will be the usb and that’s it choose the right drive and press enter = congratulations you are now officially booted from usb drive

WARNING!!! for people trying to do this on IOS 13.6.1, i tried to do this just like how he said but it didn’t work right the first time so i restarted my phone and tried to do it again. the process didn’t complete and my phone got stuck in DFU mode. the only way i could get it out was to reset and restore my iphone to factory settings. i was lucky enough to have backed up my phone onto icloud so i think i got everything back but i just wanted to let you guys know that. i use an iphone 8 by the way.

Ben Wilks so the jailbreak succeed but you don’t see the checkra1n app ? What is your iPhone ? / it’s always better to do a full restore before deciding to jailbreak just to avoid issues / and what I mean is you should download the firmware of your device from iPsw.me and then install iTunes / turn off your find my iPhone / open iTunes and put your device in dfu mode / now iTunes will recognise your device in emergency mode so press shift and press on restore with your mouse / file browser box will open / choose the firmware you downloaded and confirm and that’s it it will be fully restored and then you can jailbreak

All you need to do is download two files to usb, run one program click start. Put iPhone in dfu mode. Restart computer, click delete to get in to BIOS upon start up then click the save and exit section, after go to the one that says EUFI then enter, press enter on top one for next screen then you’ll need to type the user and pass n then sudo checkra1n then ur on to the jailbreak. Thought I’d simplify it

I got checkra1n successfully and the jailbreak was going good but then I believe a tweak I downloaded had an issue, so I had to restart my phone and now when I try to rejailbreak with checkra1n my phone gets stuck in the reboot mode with the loop symbol. I have tried many times and it just keeps getting stuck and stays there. How can I fix this?

I see a lot of people had the same problem i did where they did the process but checkra1n just wouldnt download. So if you have this problems make sure to follow these steps: - make sure password is set off -make sure you trust the device -If your phone doesnt automatically turn on once it says downloaded it means it didnt work. ( u can leave DFU mode by holding volume down and side button) -If it still doesnt work turn off you're computer and re enter the bios ( this worked for me)

Guys if you have any problem after rebooting iphone from recovery mode and the app doesnt show up, here is a nice fix it worked for me too: just easily turn off the password and face ID from you phone and then do the whole process from booting again
