Excellent! Plan B instead of plan A is really a talented option for a humanitarian worker! Flexibility from the core of heart is an essential factor to be a humanitarian. Just love the attitude! 💝

I am a bit confused. I have applied to 8 ICRC traineeship and get no chance. My profile matched the jobs description. Do not want to give up on #humanitarian job research but seems like you have to be known by the recruiter in Geneva to get the job...or is it a matter of being marginalized as a black woman?

They hire tons of Africans and I am honestly so sick of hearing blacks complaining about discrimination when there is zero evidence for that. It is possible you are simply not good enough, character wise, motivation wise etc etc but do not make this about race

@@makingpeoplebetter8654 If you were that wise enough, you could have known that racial discrimination is a reality and a continuous fight inside the UN and international organisation. For the others statements you said , I Will wisely answer that it is up to you and your experience. But thanks for your comments 2 years later.

@@cashmilanese1318 Like I said, there are tons of blacks hired by ICRC (UN no idea but I have nothing to do with them anyways). They literally have an enourmous amount of black HR professionals AND field officers. Get over this victim mentality. If an employer does discriminate just go somewhere where they won't do so. There is nothing you or anyone will do about discrimination. Discrimination exists everywhere and will always exist for a number of reasons. And that is also not limited to black people.
