Excellent choices, all. Prefabricated homes are the way to go, now, as we Humans have basically wrecked the environment with our need to go big. ✌ I downsized in 2002, and would love a new shipping container Home located in the deeper wilderness from where I am, currently. ♡

Perhaps more looking at reality rather than listening to alarmist environmentalist propaganda? Our environment has improved significantly over the past 40 years, but you never hear about that. Yes, the planet is warming, but there is much we can do to adapt and it does NOT involve destroying ourselves by moving off fossil fuels at an impossible rate. Darwin famously noted that it is not the intelligent (those who think they can halt the climate), or the strongest (those who want to force solutions on us) who survive change, but it is those who best ADAPT. You should read some otherpoints of view, such as Lomberg or Schellenberger, two environmentalists with a different point of view.

Nothing beats quality craftsmanship on site building. Prefabricated concrete walls are a great option and the exterior shell is set in one day. The prefab concrete walls can incorporate 12-15ft wall heights and wide open spaces without additional supports . A 2 story 25x25 wall system complete with exact window and door openings and headers that can support the heaviest retractable door systems is standard...all for 32k USD.

Nice looking but In many places you can not build anything that way. It is not fully attached to a foundation, the sections not attached to each other [dangerous/will be gone in tornadoes], code compliancy is a suspect /flat roofs are built differently based on regions.. They probably targeting very specific regions. Our prior house was prefab, and nothing was good about it.

1st story should have 3 or 4 car garage may be one bed and bath and kitchen but whole home should be at 2nd floor, 3 bed 2 bath kitchen living room with high ceiling

As I watch all these amazing structural innovations, I can't help but notice that there has been absolutely no mention of the accommodation of a pet or it's needs. A family includes an animal in a lot of cases so why are you not factoring that in?

Staircase without balustrade is a big no no !! Were the glass panels in the toilet and shower smart glasses ? So many people are making such kind of videos, make sure they keep the camera steady with a moderate speed and not making it flickering and causing nausea !!

This video is a mjx of promotional videos elsewhere on YT. The voice over was someone reading the manufacturer information. Since these are from all over the world, foundation and other requirements vary. Such requirements vary from city to city, county to county, state to state. Therefore the foundation requirements are limited by the code requirements at the specific site.

Yawn... This is a mash up of recent and old promotional materials. Which is why the starting costs and build timelines are no longer applicable. Container home are going to be a nightmare to sell. Connect homes are more expensive and appreciate less than a site built home. Containers were the on trend thing to do. However with this trend melting like the habitats inside and resales values plunging off the side of the ship, rough waters are ahead for owners of these once international traveling containers tuned homely homes. Prefab all the way. Focus on low VOC modular home builders. Containers belong in the transport of goods. We don't fully understand how containers lined with spray foam will hold up over time. Nor are we certain spray foam insulation is not a health hazard in tiny homes. Always be sure your home is built to code and has the appropriate HVAC system for the materials and how of airtight your build is designed to be. The inside air must be exchanged multiple times an hour or day based estimated amount of VOC off gassing; or having the air tested to determine how often the air needs to be exchanged to mitigation health risks. Self build container homes almost always cost twice as much as budgeted and end up looking link a DIY RV build with 90 furniture. Thanks 5o many containers being scrapped during the pandemic, we have no need to reuse containers suitable for home building.
