I've learned the hard when prepping a campaign: if you prep the whole campaign at once it and plan to finish it, it's going to almost always take a ridiculous amount of time to complete in game because when you're making it you don't have that foresight. I absolutely agree that prepping a session at a time is the best path to take. It's not easy, and it can be stressful to pump out something new every week... but It's worth it.

I made a character called Dougal MaCleod that would have been a Valor Bard in 5e (but I'm the DM so I haven't had a chance to play until ICRPG! So simple for my friends to pick up) I made him to be the impromptu leader of the team and made him the 'Highlander' class. Shielded skirmisher with boosted charisma. So instead of vicious mockery doing magic damage, Dougal lifts his kilt and smacks his bare ass at an enemy and it forces them to attack me and me alone for 1d4 turns! It's been tactically fantastic and fun as hell

Thanks for the clarification about the 6 stat points. Think it might be worth putting that in the book itself too (if you haven't already), I had no idea you could use it for the dice even. Another thing I've really been wanting is a functional ToC - won't make a difference to the print version, but when I'm using the PDF and can't click on numbers in the ToC or use Adobe's built-in bookmarks system, it does bug me a bit.

see i just bought the pdf and soft cover. I really like the fact that these videos exist. like i read through it and yea the words made sense i do understand but for the first time there is a disconnect. so going along step by step. was like kool now i understand what this stuff actually means. and i totally cant wait to try running a game.

Thanks for the response! I actually found and hit up the G+ group over the weekend and they were genuinely helpful. Between them and watching some of the ultimate effort podcasts I figured it out and it's such a breeze! Now I just have to wait till Wednesday for my book to arrive.

Yep... Saw in another video you answering questions about it... cool stuff. I am just checking all the info about it, i do like simple to role games, since most of the people i play or will play are not that versed on rules and other types of RPGs. Also I heard you saying that if (or when ) the extra info like loots, character and other stuff get ready you will update the file. Will I be able to download this new info for free right? Kinda afraid of that old DLCs history of digital games get me in the butt here. ^^" Also would be cool to test an adventure sometime (I know who hard that can be), but let us know if someday you will open a group (even short one shots) for those who purchased the game and to get a bit of knowledge on it.
