This heartwarming story inspired me to register for the be the match registry. I live in a rural area and was not aware you could be tested via mail by a cheek swab. Lost my dear friend Rob to leukemia years ago, so doing this in his honor and hoping I can be a match to someone also suffering. I hope others do too. Thank you for this video.

That DNA is strong, you could see they both dropped their heads in unison when Jimmy told them they were getting $10k. So well deserved and I hope these two remain connected beyond just the bone marrow for the rest of their hopefully long lives.

We were very blessed and fortunate that one of his brothers is a perfect match and now we are just praying that it takes and my husband will be able to survive this and be able to be with us and see our sons grow up. Keep us in your prayers and please if you’re able to, register to be a donor and save someone’s life. Blessings 🙏🏽💕
