Didn't you say you were in the Navy? That wasn't an aircraft carrier. It was an amphibious assault vessel. Of course, with the new F-35B, fighters can now operate off from amphibious assault vessels. @@mikehaduck-travel-mechanic884 I seem to be watching your vids in reverse. I notice that as you headed into Portsmouth, you passed the Wasp-class landing helicopter dock (LHD) USS Kearsarge (LHD-3). To be fair, it is roughly the same length (might actually be longer) as the old Essex and Midway class carriers. LOL
