Is there any way to program a id grove but only put one Conrad on the top of the groove rather than both sides ?

I noticed that I fat fingered the SF/RPM button on the first position. Sorry for that if it causes any confusion! T.P.

Why did you put a position in the program for threading ?

Hi David, truthfully, it was not needed because the thread event begins and ends outside of Z zero however, as good safe practice, if I have my home position set outside of the diameter that I plan to machine, I like to use a position to make sure the tool will always be clear as it enters and exits the ID. In this case, it is only needed for the groove. Safe practice makes safe machining! T.P.

How do you indicate the tool post?

I put an indicator in the chuck or collet and then run it along the tool post in the X axis making sure that it doesn't move. Once I get to that point, I tighten the tool post and then check it again to make sure it didn't move during the tightening process. T.P.
