So, I have a couple of spots for this material. What do you do with it? I brought a few chunks home but they just sit out in the back yard. They tend to crack and fade with sun exposure.

we keep ours in a bucket of water to avoid sun exposure and fading. Opaltends to dry out over time and crack because of its high water content.

Thanks for posting this video. Brings back some fun memories when I lived there. I had found a nice spot myself loaded with the same type of thunder eggs and blue opal.
