Well it didn’t really take them 7 weeks tho, they started tracking him after 2. Let’s give credit where credits is due. They just kept it on the low…real low!

Yep. LEO had to keep it very quiet to not tip him off, so Kohberg wouldn't try to flee the country or whatever.. I'm thinking that they were really suspicious of him when he got pulled over twice on his way back to PA. He looked quite nervous to me in the one police body-cam video.

Agree. I get so tired of hearing how “all of a sudden…..”. It was all of sudden we heard about it, but these guys knew what they were doing and they did it silently and smart while being criticized over and over. These police are kick butt awesome!!!

They solved it a lot sooner than 7 weeks and they deserve a lot more credit than she’s giving them! This is real life, solving a crime in “7 weeks” is amazing! There are so many cold cases and these guys did a great job! Give them their due respect and diligence, they deserve it! EDITED TO SAY: You’re right. I used the wrong word. They haven’t solved the case yet but they found a suspect and they did a heck of a job doing it!

With the Idaho case, part of the reliability too is that in college, when you live with lots of people, it's suppose to be safe. Safety in numbers. And it's crazy that 4 out of six people living together are murdered in a situation that we all believe would be safe because you are not alone. You have 5 other people around you. The whole safety in numbers thing goes out the window.

A family member of mine was murdered almost 2 years ago, by some men and we still don’t understand why. She went to help her sister, was kidnapped and tortured beyond recognition. Her body still hasn’t been released from the state of Arkansas. Shes from Arkansas and killed less then 20 miles from her home. Tara Strozier is her name. Our news barely touched on her disappearance, and murder. We know who and how but not the why. It’s hard to find the why ever. I’ve followed all kinds of true crime stories but until it was a friend of mine did any of the stories ever become real. Since reading about everything they did to her can I close my eyes without seeing what happened to her or not thinking about it.

The thing is. . .what he did to thise four lovely young people. . .could happen to anyone of us. He wasn't Ed Gein who dug up dead bodies and then went after the bartendress at the local pub, Dahmer going after mostly young gay Asian men, BTK who snagged up nearly homeless poor teenage boys by offering them labor jobs, the Green River killer targeting prostitutes. Bundy might be the closest Kohberger immulated. These were average American college kids basically living on campus like most American young adults who get to go to Uni. Well it seems he's achieved one thing. He's got the fame and the attention of a good portion of us and people from around the world wanting to know just what the hell was his end game was here. He just didn't have to do it. He didn't.

But decent locks on the sliding glass door would have been there, especially if one of them had a stalker. I have read on another site that the police did have the ID of two suspected stalkers and both had reasonable alibis for that night.

I feel he went back to witness the chaos he created…and was shocked when he saw nothing happening. Totally agree. Im sure he knew sheath was missing as he walked thru the kitchen. He needed sheath to conceal the knife as he walkdd to car. Decision simple. Figured sheath was wiped down already. Wore gloves no fingerprints or dna to incriminate him. Too risky to search for it DM might've called 911 already. Most likely adhering to plan to be in house no longer than 10 min max. (To beat MPD response time. MPD prob does shift chg at 4 or 4:30 am) This hypothesis would explain leaving sheath behind. AND walking past DM. Already exceeded timeframe. Each addtl minute increases probability of getting caught. He wouldve considered many different scenarios and their probable outcome in planning stage and plotted his course. Purely speculation.

He didnt stalk anyone, now he was only near the Tower not the house 12x, he never ate at Mad Greek, he didnt stalk ANY of the victims....what is the case then!? The Gabby Petito case had my attention from the start not only because it's tragic and heartbreaking, but I'm in Wyoming. Other than tourist being less than brilliant with the wildlife and hot springs and the 100 year flood last spring we are hardly ever news worthy.. Plus I'm a mother myself so when Gabby was first said to be missing you follow closely thinking she might be in the area I'm in and to pay extra attention. When it comes to the Idaho murders, my oldest daughter will be leaving for college. This is not only every parent's worst nightmare but of course I want to know the motive because that could have been my daughter. More importantly I want to see these families get justice for Kaylee, Maddie, Ethan and Xana. Gabby's family never got justice when Brian took his own life like coward. I agree that these types of stories are very relatable these day's because murders are increasing daily.. I've been watching true crime stuff for year's and it's not about fascination, it's about the victim's and the families and the justice they receive. And when you watch these video's or study cases you take knowledge from it and maybe you will have to use that one day to protect your kid's or pass stuff onto your kid's so they have that knowledge.

@@cynthiafortier2540 Sure, I don't disagree at all. Everyone deserves justice. But this kind of seems like a stretch for OP to say it is equally "relatable". One, I don't know that I really relate to this case at all. How can I? How could most people? I'm more just perplexed as to how something like this can occur. Secondly, this occurs literally all the time with missing persons cases, multiple homicides, even school shootings. I don't claim to know why, but there is seemingly no rhyme nor reason as to why certain cases interest the public or get way more press coverage and why others don't. For example, you would think only one woman (Gabby Petito) went missing in the last couple years or suffered a horrible end at the hands of an abuser based on national interest/news. But no, I am quite certain Gabby wasn't even the only young white woman from Florida that met the end she did. So what made her different? Who knows? It isn't unfair. It just.. is what it is. Lastly, four definite murders>one suspicious death. Sorry.

I say he thought about murder since at least his teen years. His interest in it got him into studying serial killers, which led him into criminology. I believe he was looking for a victim when he spotted at least one of the girls from King Road. I can only speak from watching true crime, but in revenge killings, the murderer will usually want the victims to know why, and will want the victim to feel regret. He couldn't get into their heads by speed killing them. BK just wanted to kill. Possibly, not a single one of them met him, and never knew he existed until that night. He got in and out with only time to kill and escape.

JB you got it so right when it comes to Gabby Petito, the Delphi murders, the Idaho student murders, and Anna Walshe, I like many others find it so so hard to understand why someone would do this, Why? It is so so shocking you want to follow what happens, show support to the victim's families because it could have been anyone of us, anyone we love, anyone we know whether that be sister, daughter, mother, father, brother, friend or colleague. It is hard to wrap your head around it that these crimes have occured, it hurts to see this going on no matter where in the world it takes place. You think about how afraid these victims were, you think about how they could have escaped, who could have helped them, why they did not cry out. There is so much you think about, like how the parents are coping, what they must be going through, you want to see justice prevail for them all. Because many of us have a conscience, care, and feel for people who suffer terrible crime and we carry out thoughts for their families and those that loved and cared about them. It proves there is still caring people in the world who show compassion to people they never knew or met, our world is not all bad when you read the comments from others who care about strangers and it gives you hope too to know we still have a large crowd of good hearts left to keep our world from descending into total evil!!!

It's interesting how it becomes even more haunting when you consider each of the cases you identified are sharply different. Petito was most likely because Laundrie snapped, Delphi was most likely orchestrated and sexually driven, Idaho was most likely the birth of a serial killer, and Walshe was most likely out of fear of divorce regardless of whether it was driven by jealousy or greed. Each of these cases demonstrate that there is a potential threat in every aspect of our lives... lover, neighbor, stranger.

There are a lot of different kinds of people in this world. Some of them, like psychopaths, see human life differently. They see other people only as animate creatures, that's all. Have you ever squashed a bug or spider or swatted a mosquito or a fly and killed them? See, that wasn't so hard, right? You were indifferent about ending their lives and in fact were probably happy that you had eliminated that annoyance. So just extrapolate that to people. If killing people doesn't bother you any more than swatting a fly, then it's really not a problem to kill people. That's one thing that makes psychopaths psychopaths.

I think most are also over looking a main point. This would be the age me maturity difference. At BEST you have seniors at that house in early 20’s. The suspect is 28! And his advanced education. He would have no business for being there at all! Looking at the police video of past visits to the “Party House” and see the type of youth there? The suspect would stand out like a sore thumb! The age difference is huge at this time.

Two things- some of those times he went near the victims house were in the morning when the victims would likely be waking up to attend work or class, so let's hope none of the jury buy whatever story the defense dreams up about BK going to or near the victims home so much. I've always thought he was checking their comings and goings and how often friends slept over. Knowing who all lives in the home regularly and how often they have an over night guest is all part of planning his attack. One additional thought is that it helps that neighbor's see his car in the area often so that when he commits the murders and the police ask if any suspicious vehicles in the area- his vehicle is familiar in the area and would not be considered suspicious to anyone. He never planned to leave DNA and I thank God he did. It will be interesting to know all of the evidence they have against him when this plays out in court.
@PinkoCane
@PinkoCane Жыл бұрын
The evidence against him is little to nothing. That’s why they are digging into social media; to find something they can say is related. So if he liked a photo of someone in the house…that makes him guilty? So far they’re doing a great job of releasing just enough so he seems guilty and crazy to the public. His car was near by a few times…so that makes him guilty? The tiny dab of DNA doesn’t mean shit either. They never said it was blood. So touch DNA. which is bogus. I could shake your hand, then you choke someone, but my DNA will be found on their neck too. He coulda opened it at a store or at a friend’s house. Is there evidence that he purchased or owned that sheath? So far they have a dollop of DNA(probably just touch which is flimsy). An eye witness account of a tall guy, wearing a mask, in the dark(also flimsy). His car and/or phone being in the area(so what? I myself might’ve drove by there a few times). And social media posts(completely unrelated) that they are offering up to the public to make him look crazy to everyone (purely circumstantial). I hope he walks. And then he and Kyle Rittenhouse, together, become advocates against using slander and liable by the media to convict people
@CaptZdq1
@CaptZdq1 Жыл бұрын
In the court of public opinion it's guilty until proven innocent, which is logical because 90% of accused people are guilty, and the public goes by the evidence, which usu. points to guilt. However, the evidence can be misinterpreted, and in this case it points to a frame. Someone as smart as him would not make such stupid mistakes. He makes a good patsy because of his oddities, and he was obviously set up. The case looks too suspiciously like many other cases of serial killers or mass murders, where patsies are used. See Programmed to Kill by David McGowan, Ultimate Evil by Terry Maury, and The Phoenix Program and The CIA as Organized Crime by Douglas Valentine and see also Russ Dizdar (who predicted the current exponential increase in mass murders in the US) and Mae Brussell, etc. Before I thought he was a programmed killer. Of course, this will be rejected outright bcz it's a claim of conspiracy, just like the idea that he had an accomplice, n there are no conspiracies according the fascistic, criminally insane CIA (and its mostly left-wing supporters), which has a long and sordid history of conspiracies. The profile of a serial killer or mass murderer is one of programmed killing, controlled patsies, or SSRI-victim. That's indisputable. Organized crime is usu. behind such horrible acts, and that organized crime is CIA fronts like military entities, psychiatric institutions, and Satanic cults. Kohberger may have been named for Wm. J. Bryan, CIA-connected hypnotist, and his father was in the military, so they may have known of him from there. Before the CIA, going back to at least the Middle Ages, it was also organized crime, mostly depraved elitists, behind serial killers. People, mostly leftists, protect organized crime by being in denial of conspiracies and smearing the opponents of conspiracies. Coffindaffer iasn't going to admit the CIA is behind it because she received awards from the CIA, and the FBI is sometimes behind conspiracies itself. And it's abnormal extraverts who are anti-social, bcz they lack inhibitions and sensibilities, n there are no intraverted symptoms in anti-social personality/sociopathy/psychopathy--they are externalizing disorders, introverts have internalizing disorders.

You could think you really know someone you've never even met. And then he simply got the address and actually watched through windows to see the REAL PEOPLE. So he fixated on this group of girls and they became the perfect target for his outrageous desire to create a horror story that he could then stand back and observe all of the trauma / drama he created. I also think his father may have had suspicions - considering the white car and the proximity of the crime and knowing his strange son, which may be why he chose to fly out to Washington and ride back with his son to Pennsylvania. Instead of Bryan flying round trip for the holidays. His dad HAD to wonder. He needed to see for himself how his son was living. He hoped to possibly glean some kind of clues.

Like i know a friend that's very cautious about fingerprints in her everyday life, now in case of a murder that would picked apart as proof of her being guilty.
