I think the RR gives the option for gauges, Climate Control, Etc. The SR deletes these options and only provides the option to retain the vehicle settings.

I also am curious which one to purchase I want the better one obviously but the rr seems more expensive not sure what’s the key differences are of the two

You guys are putting money for R and D in the wrong places. People aren’t changing head units anymore. They are interfacing oem units with aftermarket amplifiers. Aftermarket headunits haven’t changed in years except for wireless CarPlay. That’s in factory units nowadays too. What happened to the AR2 unit? Cmon guys. How about making an iPad to amplifier interface. Get with the times.

Not everyone has a new car and not all vehicles support CarPlay and Android auto. I learned this lesson the hard way when I had a Mazdaspeed3. I would have lost so much functionality if I changed out my head unit. I just found this and I'm now thinking this is going to keep after market stereos alive.

you are absolutely wrong. Aftermarket radios have never been more popular. OEM radios are trash and have tons of issues. AR2 had very limited support amp wise. Ipad to amplifier? wtf are you rambling about
