Yeah this guy is OP lol, but thats ok cuz everything is made up and the ideas dont matter. We really played on the idea of the Diablo 1 gameplay experience which we thought was fun to do. Hackers were extremely common then so we thought if there was a character from diablo 1 he should be a hacker, lol. But I like the idea of having a negative trait to balance out out powerful a Hero is. I also really like the Armor mechanic Idea, I think theres something there that could be legitimately used in heroes of the storm. Ps. We were going to give him staff of apocalypse but we thought we would save that for the D1 Sorcerer

This actually seems nearly balanced because he has no CC, no engage, and no direct damage abilities. He would actually NEED to be that hard to kill to make him playable! Love it. An excellent design.

The potion idea is not that bad, at least as a trait-added ability. For example, I imagine Sonya having this ability as a trait on level 1. Every 3-4 regen globes or every hero kill or whatever, grants you a health potion, which instantly restores 30% of your total HP, or something. It could allow her to be a better tank.

Isn't it official canon that the warrior from Diablo 1 is actually Aidan, Leoric's Son? I remember reading that, and they make it fairly clear in Diablo 2 that Aiden and Adria sire Leah. I heard they are already adding The Dark Wanderer (Diablo posessed Aiden) to HoTS. Would lead to some great convos between him and Leoric/Diablo.

so i just heard the W ability and i paused the vid. Just gotta say, your voice for these things are amazing. Fits so well and i laugh so hard and have a stupid grin on my face. But as an old D1 player. I just love this warrior. The lag ability its just amazing and obviously the tooltip should say in the corner "oh the nostalgia" or something like that. So far this is great. Probably the best one so far when it comes to theme of the warrior in d1 and how it played. Cant wait for the rest!

I thought the warrior was a lore character with an actual name, so i looked around the internet to find. - The Warrior of Diablo I eventually became the Dark Wanderer that featured in Diablo II. Diablo III and supporting material altered his backstory to make him Aidan, the son of King Leoric. This was a retcon from previous lore, which established that the Warrior was a stranger to the people of Tristram.

I honestly think that Mandokir the Bloodlord would be a cool addition to HoTS. His trait would be Ding! When ever he is a part of a kill on a hero he "levels up" meaning his attack speed increases, attack power increases a bit and his health goes up a bit. These effects are removed upon dieing. And of course a heroic would have to be Decapitate, Mandokir leaps at a target attempting decapitate them, dealing heavy damage, and if the target is killed from Decapitate the cd is reset.

This is a pretty funny concept overall unrealistic (but it doesn't matter of course), and there's actually some very good ideas in there. The Armor/Repair idea is great I think, it would be an interesting concept for a warrior or maybe even an assassin hero who would get some extra tankiness at the beginning of the fight. You could add "Items" as talents that would be buffs while you have Armor up too. The potion idea is interesting too, I've seen suggestions for Deckard Cain where he would give potions to allies that they can use to heal themselves. The Ear collecting thing could be a flavourful questing talent fitting for a Diablo hero. I also like the Stone Curse, it's a bit like a pumped up Shrink Ray but has it's drawback in that you CC the target but it's not efficient to unload on it to blow it up.

Here's an interesting idea, what if they used the multi-class mechanic they introduced with Varian? As Diablo 1 has pretty generic classes, it would be just Diablo 1 hero in HotS, and you'd get to pick between Warrior, Rogue and Sorcerer in the beginning and they'd get their own talents and skills, but one of their skills would be about switching weapons. Their primary attack would be auto attack, kind of like with Illidan, and they could switch between like sword and bow anytime, one of them would be more effective depending on the class they picked in the beginning.
