I’ve been a fan of Minecraft since I was a kid,and lots of things in it spook me,like cave fog and cave sounds.But the fact that paintings WATCH you takes the top position,the fact that paintings are sentient in MC and can watch your every move is downright crazy!

Baby dogs can drown too, and the beacon was added after desert temples, the reason for the armor stands floating is that the fence hitbox is actually 1.5 blocks tall, you'll float too. If you look closely each slot in the hotbar is a DIFFERENT TEXTURE from the rest of the slots. great video though!

I think it'd be really cool if Minecraft added different wolf species to the game that spawn in different biomes! These species would vary in size, model, and texture and maybe make slightly different sounds. + bonus points if they also improve the tamed wolf AI to make them behave more like irl dogs! I'd personally love it if wolves had a chance to fetch items once you drop them, for instance.

6:35 there’s a reason you can make a snow golem but not an iron golem. No constructs (withers, golems) can be summoned if there are any non air blocks within their footprint. For an iron golem, the empty spaces either side of the pumpkin and below its arms are included in its footprint, so when you try to summon it underwater, the water in those gaps stops it from spawning. Snow golems don’t have the arms sticking out, so their footprint is only 1 block wide and there are no gaps. Even though you’re building it underwater, technically there is no water inside the footprint, so the golem can still spawn.

5:55 I cannot begin to explain how much this blew my mind as I found that one out in survival out of pure chance Going through snow plains at night and a stray shot a creeper onto me and exploded, it was such a great experience to find that out on my own as I had never heard of it anywhere on the internet. I was so obsessed with taming ocelots when I played Minecraft back in 2015. Pretty sure I still have a world where I built a pirate ship with over 200 ocelots on it. Good times 😂

If you gain enough momentum, you can actually jump more than 4 blocks. So, if you gain alot of momentum (somehow) you can probably jump over a nine block gap without buffs. This means the actual max blocks you can jump over can be higher than the one in the video, especially with buffs.

I think the reason the iron golems won’t spawn underwater is because iron golems have sort of a 2x2 hitbox, and so the game probably checks for air in front and back of the golem. The snow golem has the same 1x1 hitbox as its recipe, making that it doesn’t need to check this.

you actually _can_ see through clouds from the bottom, its just that the sky is all the same color, so it looks like its blank/opaque. the burning on soul sand next to lava thing is so annoying, its caused by the fact that the soul sand hitbox is actually a little shorter than a full block, which means you actually can touch the lava with your feet while standing on it.

My very first Minecraft world, back in 1.2.5, the stronghold spawned near the surface. The Room with the portal extended out past the beach, so it was visible in the water. Because this was my first world, and I didn't yet know what the Ender Portal or the stronghold was, it was just some strange structure to me. It was less than 500 blocks from my spawn too, so it was super close for being my first world

I can’t remember if everyone knew about this glitch or if it was just me but BACK IN THE EARLIER DAYS OF MINECRAFT there was a glitch I could preform where if you built a tall pillar in the sky and used squid spawn eggs to spawn a squid on the pillar, then slowly pushed it off, it would fly diagonally until it suffocated. It was weird and fun!

useless fact: the reason you can spawn a snow golem and not an iron golem underwater is that the iron golem requires the 4 corner pieces to be air, but the snow golem is 1x3x1 with no air gaps

@@craigggo22 it might actually be that it only needs the bottom 2: i think the game checks for the iron golem/snow golem structure when the block is placed by a player, and it checks for [I][I][I] [A][I][A] where I is iron and A is air

@@rottis5042 it could be. My assumption was based on someone trying to make a wither boss by placing 3 wither skulls on the soul soil in the nether. It didn’t work because it was missing the air on the bottom row. But this doesn’t directly apply to the iron golem since that only has one head block with air around it. There is a good chance there has to be air on all four corners since the head block is part of the recipe. Luckily it would be easy to test out rather than just theorizing here about it

The temple beacon thing: NO, it was NOT on purpose. The temples were added in 1.3 snapshots, and beacons with the Wither during 1.4's snapshots, so it couldn't be intentional

I think minecraft should have some sort of a nether map. I have been looking for a nether fortress for days now and a map would be handy. Mabye you could get it by trading with villagers or pigllins or mabye finding it in a sea temple or somewhere.
