Good that you consider significant figures. I remember a prof of quaternary geology doing sieve analysis of glacial sediments and the fraction was 3 oz (measured on a cheap kitchen scales) out of a total sample of 17 oz, so only two significant figures. His result? - 29.412%. Giving a precision the sampling method was just not capable of. I said "30% is more reasonable", but I was only an undergraduate and ignored!

Hi Tyler. I really enjoy your explanations. Please could you help me with this question. What is the difference between standard conditions and STP (Standard Temperature and Pressure)? And when is are they used?

The answer to the 2nd question is a tiny bit different depending on whether you use a different R or convert kpal into atm. Using the different R of 8.31 I got a final answer of 5.74g instead of doing it the converting way and getting 5.77g

its amazing how a lot of teachers nowadays just use power point and not even do any practice problems in class. Learning is not an objective in classes like those, just submitting stuff on deadlines. Needless to say a lot of people learn more on youtube than actual lectures which they pay hundreds of dollars for.
