just ordered a Wilbers 641 competition fully set up for my weight and riding profile plus the front fork upgrade (progressive forks + different oil).

I have the same set up in my transalp. However the front suspension is too stiff for me. What springs do you have in the front?

Nice video. Looking forward to the follow ups. Transalp interests me but after a test ride i realized that improved suspension is a must.

With stock suspension on the street, I lose traction on the front a bit too often. Did you feel that, and is it better now?

I have the same feelings! (YSS front and rear absorber for TA). Its dangerous coz make me ride much more faster in terrain :) I found myself intentionally getting into bigger potholes when driving off-road :)

Hi, has the shock also the knob to adiust the preload?

It has 2 C-Keys to adjust the preload. The Knob is for the Stardard Street one. This is the RACE one

I planned to do the same, but with a different kit. I thought +30mm would be just fine. I surprised how much it is in reality. I need to rethink.

It isn't only the 3mm that gives the extra height but the different springs also!!

Different spring rate should not matter, regardless of it, the SAG should always be ~30%

Did you adjust the standard suspension before changing the hardware?

The suspension was adjusted for me by the professionals from Sestamarcia. I just mounted it on my bike. That's why it's so perfectly balanced and that's why I highly recommend to adjust it by professionals.

I've adjusted (the preload) many times, from the OEM, yes. The rebound was too strong on the street, if I would made it lower than it would be too soft. The shocks on the handlebar were quite aggressive, especially on the destroyed asphalt. Off-road same, tried to adjust it many times. To be honest haven't adjusted the H (High) and L (LOW) from the rear, didn't know that it was possible.

@IdealBike the rear isn't adjustable for damping, it looks like it might be but that knob is just a blanking plug, not to be removed.

@gronno it is, rebound, compression and preload. Ohlins has 4 types of shocks, this is race

Maby the original travel (200mm)by andreani is a good option if you dont want so mutch height?

Indeed, that's the standard option with Andreani and Ohlins provided by SESTAMARCIA. You have the quality and adjustability but you keep the same height as original. The suspension can be customised to your preferences. My suspension it's top for OFF-ROAD it's a competition suspension. You don't have to go as much as that, the Standard option will be just fine. I'll come back with the offer video soon

wheelbase 862mm, total run 215mm, useful run 228mm, oil level 70mm. You can check out the shock it's Andreani Rally Off Road 125-H08

The front spring has 60 NW, hope it helps. My weight is 85 Kg + Gear 10 Kg about 95 Kg. The forks are Andreani Misano

Am văzut, internele ptr furca față 900 euro aprox. Dar cat costa Amortizorul spate ohlins ? Ohlins de obicei costa de vinzi rinichii de la toată familia. Și servisarea.lor e posibilă numai la ateliere specializate pe ohlins. Tractiv e 3000 fata spate. Și am.vazut testele. Merită toți banii dacă ți permiți internele astea italiene îs faine că s mai eftine decât tractiv. Dar spatele ohlins e problematic...
