The funny thing is I know this is annoying but considering the incompetents of the electrician that installed my solar, I'm doing him a favour by rectifying all his mistakes that would have cost thousands worth of damage. The guy even contradicts the wiring that the manufacturer shows in an instructional video, he refuses to even watch a one minute video and rather is 10% sure the battery is faulty.

Gotta love the hard hats, definetly adds to the "ambiance." I retired after 28 years with the IBEW and looking back, the 5 years of school they have you go through could have been abbreviated to probably 2-3 years in that so much of the curriculum was involving aspects of electricity and electrical theory that would never be utilized on the job. Things like the anatomy of a diode, troubleshooting a circuit board, series and parallel circuits in electronics. So much wasted time that never benefited me personally. Don't get me wrong, I loved the trade, it's just that the apprenticeship seriously needs overhauled and made more practical.
